Dalgona Coffee

Post No.195

Dalgona Coffee is a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee, sugar and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk. Dalgona coffee is the latest trend and was first popularized in South Korea, spreading across the world recommending that people engage in social distancing.

4 tbsp instant coffee

4 tbsp sugar

4 tbsp hot water

4 cups of milk

A hand mixer or a whisk or a spoon

In a large mixing bowl add coffee, sugar and hot water. Using a hand mixer whip the coffee mixture for 2 minutes or until it is light brown and fluffy.

Fill 2/3 of a cup with warm/cold milk. Spoon the foam and add it to the top of the milk. You can also sprinkle some coffee powder or cocoa powder  on the top.

Mix it with a spoon to make a latte or just enjoy it as is with a little foam and milk all in one sip.
